Wineology can offer a consultancy service to restaurants and hotels looking to revamp or compose their wine menu.
All too often restaurants opt for boring run-of-the mill wines because they simply don’t know how to pair food and wine properly, or they miss-read their consumer.
Natalie is highly proficient at food and wine pairing and is happy to work with chefs and front of house team to develop exciting and novel wine menus. Working within a given budget we can select wines, train the front-of-house staff and advise on wine suppliers. We will consider the consumer, their demographic and budget as well as the food pairing, and vitally important, we will then train the waiting staff so they can talk confidently about the wines and upsell your products.
Key to a good wine menu is understanding your consumer and not being scared to introduce them to new and exciting wines, which they may not be that familiar with.
Wineology is happy to work with you as a one off, or we can work with you regularly to redesign your wine menu as the seasons and your food menu changes. Think of us as your consultant sommelier!
